February

I hate to do a highlight month AGAIN! But, I never got to my blog! ugh!

I gave John a groupon to go to a glass blowing class. He was so excited! He had a great time. He really wanted to make a vase or something. But in the first lesson you only make a little glass leaf pendant.  He came home so happy! He said the teacher told him that he had talent!

We went to Tivoli Square to get some dinner and all the good places had long waits. So we went to this little cafe that had board games to play at the tables! It was a nice change! We played pool too.

Notice the 4 red ones in a row! (I'm always red!)

Well, I'm off to girls camp again! I got called as an assistant stake camp director. It should be fun. We had a ycl overnighter to plan the theme and get to know the girls. They are such sweet girls!
Alma De laVega and I.

John and I went down to the Venetian to see Tim Allen. He was pretty good. A bit of a potty mouth. But very funny! I fell in love with this candy store inside the Venetian! All my old favorites!
YUM!!!

Afton drawing a picture for Mitchell!

We gave Tanner tickets to see Imagine Dragons for his birthday. We got 2 extra so we could go along. It was a great concert!
Tanner's ticket was down on the floor. We were up in the balcony seats. We are too old to be on the floor.

With Mitchell gone we moved Tanner into Mitchell's room and I got a new scrapbook room! John painted it and built me a nice desk! I LOVE it! I might actually start scrapbooking again!

Beautiful flowers from my Valentine with an invite too a romantic lunch! We went to Vitner Grill. It was so good!

Our niece Sam and her husband Jake and little guy Christopher came to dinner! They live up in Draper, Utah. It was so fun to catch up with them! Christopher loved great uncle John!

we went to the temple the next morning.

The Jarman's invited the Taylor's and us to their cabin for President's day weekend. It was a blast! The weather was perfect! We skied all day Saturday and Monday. The snow was pretty good and the sun was shinning! My kind of skiing weather! We had our coats zipped most of the day!

The family on the chair lift!

Riley was a crack up!

Rene'e and Kaleen. Great friends!
The highlight of the weekend is that we got to talk to Mitchell on Tuesday morning! His visa hasn't come yet to go to Mexico, so he is going to Boise till it comes. We got to talk to him at the airport flying to Boise. He sounded so good! It was wonderful to hear his voice!! He said the MTC was great. But he was ready to get out! We got this picture from the Boise mission president and his wife.

I will post a few of Mitchell's letters soon! He is doing great in Boise!
